The display panel emits infrared signals, which are reflected when obstructed, triggering the motor to open or close the lid.
What to do if the sensor does not work after installing the batteries?
Ensure that you have inserted AA batteries (6*LR6) into the battery box.
Make sure the battery box is inserted in the correct direction, aligning the metallic connectors together.
Ensure the switch is on and the indicator light is working.
When the lid is open, a continuous 5-second sensing will keep it open, and the indicator light will turn green.
If there is no contact with the sensor within 5 minutes, the lid will automatically close.
What to do if the sensor stops working after using it for a while?
Check if the indicator light is displaying properly.
Ensure there are no obstructions within 50 cm (19.7") above the sensor area.
